Labels have taken center stage in the body politics of our Nation. We are flooded everyday with labels such as conservatives, liberals, independents, democrats, republicans, etc. However the one label that should unite and inspire us all is often forgotten - Americans and Mankind

People in America are becoming paranoid about Political Correctness (PC?). You cannot have an honest conversation or lack of it without being labelled one way or another. Whatever happened to free speech?. Besides, in the modern concept of a civilized society, a citizen or non-citizen has an inalienable right to apologize for speech gone bad as long as the apology is heartfelt and in the spirit of tolerance and fair discourse.

coming home

Let us bring our troops back from Iraq. Let Sunnis settle with Shiites. Do not give Syria and Iran a theater of opportunity to showcase their importance. The bottom line is that long after the U.S troops have gone from Iraq you will still have Sunnis and Shiites talking about how the American crusaders and infidels caused desolation to their land. Bring the troops home now.
